What we collect
We collect as little as the site can function with.
- Server logs. Our web server records the page requested, the date and time, and the requesting IP address. These are kept for security and abuse prevention, and are rotated on a short cycle.
- Analytics. Aggregate, non-identifying usage statistics — which pages are read, how visitors arrive, what device they use. We do not build profiles of individual readers, and we do not sell this data.
- Cookies. Only what is needed to serve the site. We do not set advertising cookies, and we do not run third-party trackers across the site.
- Email. If you write to us, we keep the message and your address so we can reply.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
- We do not share your email address with advertisers.
- We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Third parties
The site is served through hosting providers, and images are delivered through a content delivery network. These providers process requests on our behalf and are bound by their own terms. Article pages may embed video from third-party platforms; those platforms may set their own cookies once the embed loads.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be erased. Write to privacy@globalsportsfocus.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to our publishing systems is restricted to staff and protected by individual credentials.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will note it on this page. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
